What should I know about a private shopping party?
A private shopping party ensures that you and your friends will have the whole shop to yourselves. Everyone can relax, catch up and shop at their own pace in a more intimate and controlled environment. As a private event, it is catered to adults where guests can enjoy shopping and socializing without needing to be mindful about children.
What if I want to host a private shopping party at my house?
Fantastic! I first visit your place to get a sense of your home's layout and work with you to find the best place(s) for my tables/displays/clothes’ racks. As the householder, you can allow certain areas of your house to be open for my displays and close off others. That said, a small space may hamper the shopping experience or not work at all. All attendees must be over 18. If you choose to serve alcohol, you assume the responsibility of serving (those over 21) with moderation and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere for everyone. If there’s ample space and you are willing, I could invite another vendor, for example, one who sells pastries. This double-vending experience has worked well in the past but is not required. You may choose the event to last no less than 4 hours and no more than 6 hours. Before the event itself, please allow 60 to 90 minutes for setup.
As the host, you'll get to invite people among your friends and family. When you are deciding on how many people to invite, keep in mind two points: (1) The invitees will generally flow in and out during the event's hours, so it is unlikely that your house will be occupied by all invitees at the same time. (2) It is recommended that you have alternate invitees for those who don't RSVP or are unable to attend.
Is it true that you offer perks if I decide to host?
Yes, it's true! (1) You get first choice to buy what you want before everyone else arrives. (2) You and all guests attending your party will receive 10% off their purchase. As a bonus, you may request free styling tips to improve your personal style.
How far in advance should I reach out to you ?
Please reach out to me two months in advance from the event's tentative date. That allows time for coordinating the private party and minimizing rush and stress. First, I need to see your place and confirm that it is suitable for an event. If it is, we'll reserve the day for the private event. After we reserve the private event date, you will have time to send invitations to your friends and wait for confirmations (RSVPs) from them. If you have few invitees or RSVPs, we can talk about sending more invitations to a number of my faithful clients and followers.
